Hello everyone! Our week was full of school last week, and catching up on some things. It was a good busy. I loved getting caught up around home honestly. Getting things reorganized, moving stuff around. However, I went to bed at night exhausted and zonked out before I could even fathom reading.
I did finish one book though!

I had been very curious about Arden’s writing for kids, as I loved The Bear and the Nightingale. I have to say, I was just as much caught up in her middle grade as I was her adult fiction. I am looking forward to reading the next in this series, although that probably won’t be until January.
Reading This Week:

I just love this cover. And the sound of the book as well! I am reading in between stitching right now, when I get time. I am working on a few embroidered gifts, so I need to make sure I spend time on that as well. I just need two of me I think! Or, to be ok with never sleeping. Lol.
Posted Last Week:

Top Ten Tuesday – Books with Rabbits on the Cover
Comfy Cozy Cinema – Bringing Up Baby
Friday Morning Coffee Catch Up – Halloween and Anniversary Chatter
Holiday Gift Guide – Cozy Fantasy Edition
Watching:
We are still watching the same old things here. The Great Pottery Throw Down and What We Do in the Shadows. We love them both!
We also only have two weeks left in our Comfy Cozy Cinema movie watching with Lisa at Boondock Ramblings! This week we are watching and talking about The Grand Budapest Hotel, and next week is our watch party for Chocolat! If you are interested the watch party and chat (all text on discord) in on November 17th at 7 pm EST. I plan on surrounding myself with some good chocolate candy to nibble on, some red wine, a comfy blanket, and my cozy bed for the watch.

And that is it from my corner of Michigan today! How are you all doing?
I’m glad you were able to get things accomplished. It was a crushing week of disappointment for me with this country.

Small Spaces looks interesting and I’m not seeing a link to your reviews, if there is one, so I’m off to GR to see what it’s about!

I love that you’re embroidering gifts! I’m cooking them (some) and think it is much more personal. The cover of The Crescent Moon Tearoom is very appealing and I’ll see if our library has it.

We watched it last night, and it was so good. It was a very quiet movie for us; we both watched it and were completely absorbed.
I really enjoyed Bringing Up Baby – they are so funny together!

We have been very lazy here at Haus der Mitte this weekend! In fact, I didn’t get dressed today (Sunday) until after 4:30 and that was so I could run to Target! We started watching “The Substance” which looks like something Hitchcock might have done. We’ve just begun it so I’m still not sure where it’s going. I’m reading Every Time I Go On Vacation Someone Dies or something like that. It’s not exactly what I thought it was going to be, but it’s a mystery so I’m determined to finish it!
Oh, lucky people to get an embroidered piece! I need to get back to embroidering. It’s so relaxing and rewarding all at the same time.
Have a wonderful week, Erin!

Lazy sounds perfect!! That was basically the day we had Saturday and it was lovely. Lol. We got dressed later in the day to go to my brother’s for a fire.
I liked that book a lot! It did drag a little in places though. Lol!
I hope those people agree with you! I love embroidering – I love that I can do it while we are watching tv or whatever too.
Thanks Marsha, you too!

We liked Grand Budapest, it’s stunning visually. I think the same director did Life of Pi.

I love love love Wes Anderson! I think this was one of his only films that I hadn’t watched yet. I just love the way everything in his movies look, I agree. They are so stunning visually!

I liked the idea until I realized now I have to get sewing a little faster. LOL. I am liking it so far but I am not in the mood for it really right now. 😦 I seem to be in a weird book place!! I hate when that happens.
I would love that!! You have seen so many of the ones we watch, it would be great to have you part of it with us!

I am reading very haphazardly these days. I can’t really get settled into a book. I hate that.
