Today’s Prompt: Bookish Wishlist
Hello everyone!! Today is all about the books on our wishlist, and also the opportunity to gift another blogger with a book from their wishlist!
I do love to pick a blogger or two (by putting all the names of people with posted lists in a hat and having Wyatt pick) to gift a book. As Jana says, “This week’s topic, Bookish Wishes, is a popular one and one I host twice a year (around Christmas and again in June)! List the top 10 books you’d love to own and include a link to your wish list so that people can grant your wishes. Make sure you link your wish list to your mailing address or include the email address associated with your e-reader in the list description so people know how to get the book to you. After you post, jump around the Linky and grant a wish or two if you’d like. Please don’t feel obligated to send anything to anyone!”
These are the books that are at the tops of my wish list! Some of them I have read and want to own since I love them so much (I use the library for 99.9% of the time) and some are books that I think I will love so much I want to own them.

Cat’s People by Tanya Guerrero || The Smallest of Joys by Diane Shiffer || Off the Beaten Path by Eloise Corvo

The Correspondent by Virginia Evans || The Enchanted Greenhouse and The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst || Firefly by Robert McFarlane || The Tarantula in My Purse by Jean Craighead George (although I had better not ever find our tarantula in my purse!
I never know if I should share my link or not! I go back and forth, back and forth. I am going to do it in the spirit of the prompt, with zero expectations. 🙂 Amazon List
And that is it for me! I am excited to go read everyone’s posts today (or as many as I can before my son’s appts!), and hopefully grant a wish or two!
I hope that whatever you do today, you do something that makes you smile!
The Correspondent is one that I really need to read. I’ve heard so many great things about it! Aw, I love that you let him choose! <3
The Correspondent looks so good!
I feel like it is good lesson in just doing kind things when you are able for no reason other than to make someone smile. 😉
I love the way you pick to send a book by having Wyatt draw a name! I kind of do it randomly as well. I often look for someone’s list who has a book that I might have loved and want them to have a chance to read and love as well! Hope you also get some of your wishes as well!

Thanks Lisa!!! I feel like it is good lesson in just doing kind things when you are able for no reason other than to make someone smile. 😉
The Correspondence has a fetching cover!
It does!
Wow, I just had to add Off the Beaten Path to my TBR because of that cover. It looks so cute! Have you read that one?
I love that cover too! No, that is one I haven’t read yet. I am a Michigander though, and the author is from my area so I definitely want it. Lol.
The Correspondent is on my wishlist too!
I hope your bookish wishes come true, thanks for sharing your #TTT
It looks so good!!
That’s a great idea to include your son!
Thanks Carol! I feel like it is good lesson in just doing kind things when you are able for no reason other than to make someone smile. 😉
Exactly!♥️
I got you a treat from your wishlist that isn’t listed here, since I love T. Kingfisher’s work!
Oh my gosh!! Thank you so much!!! I am so excited! I love T. Kingfisher although I have not read many by her yet. I am actually reading one of her kids books under the name Ursula Vernon to my son right now! Dragonbreath. He thinks that name is hysterical. Lol. Thank you again!!
Thank you again!!! I am so excited about it! That was so nice of you. 🙂
I loved The Spellshop! Hope you’ll get some of these wishes granted 🙂
Thank you Lindsey! Durst is one my “I will read anything by her” authors!
I read Off the Beaten Path and it was really good. Your list has many good ones on it.
Ooo I am glad to hear that! I am excited for that one. The author is from my area!
it’s fun granting wishes 🙂 Thanks for sharing your list and commenting on RimSP!
It is!!! It is nice to just make someone smile, just because!
exactly!
Is that the same Diane Schiffer who ends her Instagram posts with something like, “Nana loves you?” I didn’t know she wrote a book! I love books, but until we do some rearranging in the house, I have no room. I just have a few really special ones.

It is!!! Isn’t that awesome! I am not sure I necessarily like her calling herself my Nana but I get it. It is cute. Lol. I am slowly changing stuff here now and making room for books again. Still not a lot, but a little bit of space. Lol.
I always feel so guilty when I see a book I’ve had on my TBR forever that I haven’t read. It’s like they’re staring at me with accusing eyes! 😅 I need to read The Correspondent soon, and I was supposed to read the next books after The Spellshop as well. I’m glad you loved some of these books so much!

LOL! I love that!! And you will get to them when it is the right time!
These are some great ones; I see lots of books I love on this list! I was just working on an Amazon wishlist of books this past weekend since my birthday is coming up soon. I tend to just send all my boys a link to my wishlists and remind them a good week or two ahead of time that my day is coming up so they can order me something in time.
That is a good idea! I hope you get your birthday wishes! When is your birthday?
at this point, I can only send ebooks
Emma, you are fine! You don’t need to send anything! 🙂
Fabulous list, Erin. So many great looking books. Hope you get to read them. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog.
Thank you Cheryl! I hope that you get a wish or two filled as well!
The Durst books have such lovely covers!
Happy TTT!

They really are so pretty!
The Correspondent is really good! One of my favourites this year.
Oh good!! I am looking forward to reading it! I am hoping to read it this fall.
Cat People looks perfect. I hope you get some good ones!
Thanks Lauren! I loved Cat’s People. That is one that I have read. It is a favorite of mine!!
I wish I hadn’t already given away my “Correspondent” or I’d send it to you!
Lol! Well thank you for the thought Jeannie!! 🙂
I just finished my first Robert McFarlane book, and now I want to read more by this author. I thought about doing a passing-on-books event, but I didn’t get that organized in time for this week. Maybe I will do that the next time we have a wishlist event.
I had this same thought, like it would be neat if we all had a book swap! If you decide to organize one and I can help let me know!
Some intriguing titles here. Especially The Tarantula in My Purse. Ha! I need to check that one out.
Doesn’t that sound so fun!!! I actually received that one today!!
Those Sarah Beth Durst books look so cozy. I hope some of these make their way to you!
Thank you Alicia!
The Spellshop is an adorable book. I really liked it.
Sarah Beth Durst just writes the most cozy books!
wow wow wow, what a nice surprise in the mail today. Thanks so so much, I’ve had my eye on this one for a while. So so sweet of you. may God bless you, you sweet boy, and all your family
You are so very welcome!!! I am glad that it made you smile!!!
What a great list! I loved The Correspondent — hope you do too!
