Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish Goals 2025

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Hello everyone!! I don’t have very many bookish goals honestly, just a few. And here they are!

Goal One: Visit more independent booksellers! We had so much fun at the end of last year seeking these out and shopping at indie local bookstores, and I want to continue on with that this year.

Goal Two: Continue using our local library! We have the best library, and it is one of Wyatt’s favorite places to go.

Goal Three: Have fun with my reading tracking!

Goal Four: Grow my Bookstagram/Instagram and TikTok. (if you have an account and don’t mind helping me out, follow me here and here!)

And those are my goals for the year!

Have a good one everyone! Whatever you today, try to do one thing that makes you smile!

Those sound like great goals! I don’t usually set many book/reading goals either but I just try to make sure I’m enjoying lots of great books mostly for free through our library. 😊

    2. Good luck with your goals. I’m glad you and Wyatt enjoy your local library so much. It’s always wonderful when you have access to a good one. I’m already following you on Instagram after you followed my page last week but I’ll try to watch out for your posts on there. I’d help with TikTok but I’m not on there. Good luck though 🥰

      1. Thank you Charlotte! You reminded me that I needed to go back and respond to some comments on there! LOL. Sometimes I read them and then get interrupted by a certain small someone before I reply.

Wyatt is so funny at the library. Whenever we enter he says (more loudly than I like) Yay books!

        1. Lol well I’m glad I helped remind you then 😂 I can understand that. I’m not sure if it’s the easiest notification system to keep track of either 🤔

Aww that’s sweet. Its lovely that he likes books and I’m sure they don’t mind that kind of reaction there given the book enthusiasm involved.

    3. In addition to the “publishing” aspect of my blog, I should lean more into the creative side. Seeing your jour reading tracking pages reminded me of the social media trend that is “junk journaling” and I feel like I should start to do some things that aren’t just related to writing on the computer. I do sometimes write a review first in a notebook by hand and I surprisingly find I do like it. 🙂

    4. Erin is going to go TikTok famous! whoot!

And I also want to go to more indie bookstores. We have to travel an hour or more to get to any, but I am going to try to make that a goal this spring and summer.

I also want to have more fun with my reading tracking this year.

    5. Wonderful goals! I love your reading journal! Very pretty. I’ve tried to start one a few times, but don’t stick with it for too long. I followed you on Instagram, I’m bookofsecretsblog on there.

    6. I love these goals so much, and really enjoy seeing your posts both on here and on Instagram! You’re one of the newer bookish friends I’ve made, and I can’t wait to see what you and Wyatt get into this year.

Your book journal is so pretty! I am hoping to be more faithful with book journaling this year, but forgot to include that in my list of goals. Mine won’t look for pretty though. LOL Good luck with your goals this year!

Those are great goals; I too love using indie bookstores & libraries. Also I’ll try to find you on Bookstagram … I need to use that more this year … but I never seem to, lol.
