Last week was crazy super busy. Most of it was fun (the dentist appointment not so much), but phew, I am ready for a break. I think our family needs a slow down week this week!
Read Last Week:
I am working on my NetGalley reviews for August, slowly trying to tick them off. Knocked these two off last week! Both were really good, although pretty different!
Reading This Week:

I’m taking a little time off from my NetGalley list this week though – I had been wanting to read the second in this series for a very long time and I finally remembered that fact when I went to the library the other day. Lol.
Posted Last Week:
Book Review: The Secret to Happiness
So what is going on in your life right now?
I love the look of The Secret of Happiness. It’s not available at my library yet, so I will have to keep watching for it. Can’t wait to hear what you think about it.
I’m continuing to read Moby Dick, but I am having trouble finding my next read. I don’t like it when I don’t have a nice stack of upcoming reads. Maybe it’s time for me to try Goldfinch.
I hope you have a wonderful week!

I really enjoyed it! It was an uplifting story of friendship and acceptance.
Some books too, are hard to follow up! I have never read Moby Dick but I am feeling like I should. I love Donna Tartt but I have never read Goldfinch either.
I sat down the other day and plotted out the books I am hoping to read every month until Christmas. We will see how I do, I am usually not great at sticking to a plan. Lol.
Thanks!

Hope this is a more relaxing week for you… sounds like you’ve been busy! We’ve been going through a lot of stuff in our house as we get ready to move, so there hasn’t been much reading time for me lately. I’m planning to start The Mother-in-Law on audio today

I think the problem was that I was busy! I never usually have so much lined up for just myself in a week and I was all over. It through me off my game! Lol. I keep meaning to try audio, my husband and SIL love them.

Yeah, I read the first one a while ago and it creeps back into my mind every so often so I am looking forward to reading the next one. 🙂

That Glass Sword series looks pretty good. I’ve been feeling like more fantasy stuff lately, I’ll have to give those a look.

We need a calm before the storm of going back to school around here! Lol. And really, just end of summer I think needs a slow down. Summer is so full of activity usually, that it’s good to just stop moving for a minute. 🙂

We’ve had a few slow-down weeks this summer and really enjoyed it. Now school is starting back up along with my 7th grader playing volleyball. Busy, busy, busy times. I hope you can stop by:

Yes, preschool is right around the corner again and I know things will pick back up soon! So we are enjoying our slower paced week. It’s nice to do sometimes! 🙂
