It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date

It’s been a few weeks since I linked up here. A lot has happened, including the loss of my uncle – and when I am upset I usually can’t read, so I haven’t had much to say for a what are you reading link up.

I still haven’t read anything but I do plan on starting a book today, fingers crossed. I have been participating in Nonfiction November though, and have been really enjoying it! I have added so many books to my TBR.

Reading This Week:

I have heard so many good things about this book, and I am looking forward to starting it.

Posted Last Week:

Homeschooling: Owls Week!

The Stay-at-Home Edition Holiday Gift Guide

Nonfiction November: Week 3: Ask the Experts

Watching:

Sherlock (I’m obsessed!), Dawson’s Creek reruns on Netflix, The Great British Baking Show, Death in Paradise (although now my favorite ever Detective is gone! and I swore I wasn’t going to watch it but I did and it made me sad) Wyatt is watching Wild Kratts and Molly of Denali a lot lately – and I find myself watching right along!

And that is it from around here! Stay safe everyone.

    1. I think you will love Sherlock! We save it for our movie nights and all week long I wait impatiently to watch the next episode!

I started The Salt Path yesterday and I am loving it. Definitely will be in my top ten of the year.

  1. I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your uncle. It’s hard to do anything when we are grieving.

I have The Salt Path on my list to read soon. I haven’t been able to find it at any of our libraries, though, and that is disappointing. If you like it a lot, maybe I’ll break down and buy it.

I’ve been enjoying Nonfiction November. Oddly, though, the books I picked to read this month have been a little disappointing. I think I might need to turn everything back in and pick some different books.

    1. Thank you Deb. He was very special to me, and influenced so much of my life, especially my love of gardening and baking. He will be missed terribly.

I couldn’t find it either! I ended up caving and buying it, and in my opinion, it is worth it! I started it yesterday and am about halfway through!

Ugh I am sorry to hear that! I hate when that happens.

  2. My sincere sympathies on your loss.
Salt Path has certainly been recommended often during #NonficNov, I hope you enjoy it.
I am this very minute watching Patisserie Week on GBBS 🙂

Wishing you a great reading week

  3. Sorry to hear you recently lost your uncle… Grief is such a personal thing, but all encompassing and an absorber of energy, so it is no wonder your reading was not as it usually is.

I hope you are enjoying The Salt Path – powerful story.

Wishing you goodness in your new week.

    1. Thank you Jade. He was such a very special person in my life – I am going to miss him terribly! I have lots of memories with him though for when I can think of them without crying!

And wow – The Salt Path was amazing. I loved it.
