One of my favorite activities during fall is just sitting around a fire with my family and friends, hanging out, having s’mores and cider. So today my post is inspired by those fires! I have not read any of these but I have added a few to my TBR!

I know! My back up plan was to just use the word fire if I couldn’t find enough but I did it! Lol. And thank you!
Who would have thought there’d be so many books with bonfire in the title? I have great memories of huge roaring bonfires growing up. Homecoming weekend at our local high school meant a huge town-wide bonfire usually topped with a scarecrow or two (wearing our rival team’s jersey or gear) and an old piece of furniture for them to perch on. But then by the time I reached high school that had stopped. While I still enjoy a good fall fire we don’t have/make the opportunity to enjoy them much.
I know, it felt sort of like a challenge! Lol.
Those sound like amazing memories!! I would love to see one of those giant ones! That sounds really cool!!

It was! But if you knew my previous ideas, it was the easier choice. I have no idea why I was making this one so hard on myself. I tried to make a list of area specific gothic books both classic and modern, which would be cool, but it also broke my brain for a minute.

I actually didn’t even include the book I had read with Bonfire in the title. Lol. Beneath the Bonfire by Nick Butler. The Bonfire and Bliss Bookstore looks super cute.
We don’t often do bonfires here, it’s still too hot in fall and we have fire bans haha. But sometimes in winter! I did not know there were so many books that had bonfire in the title though.

If you’d have told me before you put this together that you were going to focus on “bonfires” in the title of books, I’d have predicted you’d have never found ten books! Boy, was I wrong!
I was surprised I found ten! I thought I was going to have to pivot to just fire but I made it! Lol.
I do like a good bonfire on a crisp autumn night.
