One of my favorite activities during fall is just sitting around a fire with my family and friends, hanging out, having s’mores and cider. So today my post is inspired by those fires! I have not read any of these but I have added a few to my TBR!

Who would have thought there’d be so many books with bonfire in the title? I have great memories of huge roaring bonfires growing up. Homecoming weekend at our local high school meant a huge town-wide bonfire usually topped with a scarecrow or two (wearing our rival team’s jersey or gear) and an old piece of furniture for them to perch on. But then by the time I reached high school that had stopped. While I still enjoy a good fall fire we don’t have/make the opportunity to enjoy them much.
Wow, that’s quite a list. All I could think of was Bonfire of the Vanities!
