I have been gobbling up cozy mysteries the last few months, and I am excited to get started on some fall themed titles. (even though today it is nasty gross out and will feel like 102 with high humidity) I can dream though and turn the air conditioning to low and drink some tea. And I am totally decorating for fall this weekend.

Anyway, this list is a mashup of old and new books, honestly titles that are on my list of hopefuls for this autumn.

Mulberry Mischief is one I am definitely going to read. It is like book four in the Berry Basket mysteries, and I saved it for October reading since I read the others this summer. It is a great series, super fun and quick too.

I really don’t think we can get much cuter than this one! The Black Cat Detectives I already put on hold at my library. It looks so adorable!!

Snuffed Out is another one at the top of my list, and it is book one in the Magic Candle Shop mysteries. I do enjoy some supernatural in my cozies, especially this time of year!

Death in the Haunted Wood has the best cover! It is part of the Pacific Northwest Cozy series, and I think it is the second in the series, although, I am that sort of rogue soul who might skip over books in a series at times.

B I Skinner is an author I had not really heard of but these titles kept showing up in my Pinterest suggestions feed, and they grew on me. I think they both sound really good, especially Steeped in Mystery, although, The Case of the Haunted Hotel looks pretty cool too. I love that Vanagon! These are two different series, the Eerie Estes Mysteries and the Ghostly Glenwood Mysteries. (Bonus they are free on KU or $1.99 to buy)

Death Overdue sounds so fun! Er.. you know what I mean. It is a Haunted Library Mystery, and I always thought it might be neat to work in a haunted library!

Killer Donuts is another one that caught my attention. Look at that kitty! Is he sad? Hunting? I don’t know but I want to read this book. It is part of the Deputy Donut series, and I believe this is the first book.

Wrong Side of the Paw is part of the Bookmobile Cat Mystery, which is a series that I love. I haven’t read them all, and I haven’t gotten to this one yet so I might be leaping ahead to get to it for the season.

And just an FYI – at least 3 of these mysteries are set in my home state of Michigan! Wrong Side of the Paw, Berried Secrets, and Mulberry Mischief.

And of course, last but not least, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the Shady Hollow series. I love an anthropomorphic book, and I have been making myself wait for a whole year to read the second in the series Cold Clay since it takes place in the fall. Because I am weird that way. So please for your perusal is Cold Clay.
