Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl
Prompt: Favorite Secondary/Minor Characters
Today is all about honoring those fun favorite secondary/minor characters. So I decided to do the furry companions in cozy mysteries!

Huckleberry, a cute little pug, from the Farm to Table Mysteries by Amanda Flower
Oliver, a corgi who can talk to his owner, in the Chatty Corgi series by Jennifer Hawkins
Yeti, a fluffy white kitty who gets her own chapters in the Mountain Lodge Mysteries by Diane Kelly

Charles, the library cat from the Lighthouse Library series by Eva Gates
Dash, another corgi, from the Enchanted Garden series by Bailey Cattrell (I love corgis!)
Bugsy, a goat from the Zen Goat Mystery series by Janna Rollins

Towser, Lugs, and Sonsie from the Hamish Macbeth books by M.C. Beaton
Fifi (who shows up a few books in) the purebred poodle from the Campers and Criminals Mysteries by Tonya Kappes
Eddie, the cat who usually finds the bodies from the Bookmobile Mystery series by Laurie Cass (and this reminded me I want to read more of these!)

Emerson, the tuxedo cat from the Magical Bookshop series by Amanda Flower AND a bonus!
Another Violet character I could have added to my list for last week’s Top Ten Tuesday!
And that is it from me today! I will be by on Wednesday to comment on your posts since my son has physical therapy and Little League on Tuesdays now! Lol.
I hope that whatever you do today, that you do something that makes you smile!
This is such a cute way to interpret the prompt😁 Animal side characters are the best!
Lol thank you! I love when a mystery sleuth has an animal friend.
I don’t know any of these characters but I remember many cats I’ve loved in other books!
I love a cat character. 🙂
Aww, they all sound adorable.
Thanks Lydia!
I’d love to meet these characters for real!
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Me too!

Memorable animal characters are the best! I’ll remember this for next time! 🐕
Thanks Carol! I love an animal friend in books.
Fun list, have a good week!
Thank you Cindy!
I don’t know any of these, but cozy is not my go-to genre so that’s not that surprising.

Lending a Paw was a fun one!
That is a fun series! I need to read more of them.
Another fun companion from a cozy mystery series is Baby from Baker Street Mysteries by Valerie Burns. Have fun with PT and Little League!

Thanks Ashley!! Me too!
This is a great one. I really liked Oliver too and have a lot of these other books on my TBR.
Oliver is such a fun character!
Love your take on the prompt, thanks for sharing your #TTT
I love this topic. My favorite cozies have animal companions.
Fun twist on the topic! A lovable animal companion seems to be a requirement for a good cozy 🙂
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

This is an amazing list! I don’t read a ton of cozies but the ones with animals are the best!
That’s a fabulous idea for a list today! So many of us folks love our animal companions that I think these must be very popular.
Pets and cozy mysteries are a match made in heaven in my opinion. Bonus points if the animal in question helps solve the mystery. Eddie from Bookmobile Mystery sounds like a great pet to have around.
Such a fun theme/list! Every detective needs a furry friend to bounce ideas off of 🙂
