I live in Michigan, where it has been gray and snowy for months and months. I love it in December and maybe part of January, but we have reached the point where I am ready for winter to move on. Vamoose. Go. I need some green. I need some blue skies and bird song. I need flowers. So, being me, I am turning to books so I can daydream through the pages until I can tiptoe through tulips.

Statute of Limitations || Flowers and Foul Play || Daisies for Innocence
These three are at the top of my list. They all sound so cute! I love that Statute of Limitations takes place in Michigan and has a mischievous raccoon, that Flowers and Foul Play is magical, and Daisies for Innocence has a corgi. I am a pushover for certain things, and these all push that “I love that!” button.

Murder in the Rose Beds || Deadhead and Buried || A Muddied Murder
Look at these two cute English cottage mystery series, each with their own little ginger cat! Hmm. Don’t they look sort of similar….. even if they are, both of these series look adorable and fun.
I also love this vintage seed packet style cover of the A Muddied Murder. What a great concept!

The Azalea Assault || Pruning the Dead || Pruning for Murder
I am also a sucker for a book with a house on the cover, and all three of these appeal to me. Although will I want to prune anything after reading them?

And finally, A Hoe Lot of Trouble. This one just made me laugh!
And that is it from me today! If you are somewhere warm and sunny, send some of that my way!

These are all a great antidote to winter! I love all the cozy, sunny covers😁
Thanks Tammy! I am so ready for spring!
Daisies for Innocence is such a lovely cover!
I agree! And the little corgi is so cute! I love corgis. Lol.
You probably will envy me now when I say that I spent a few hours reading outside today, because spring is showing up early! My balcony is facing south, so with the sun out and about, this is possible. Quite unusual for March though, but still great! It was actually a bit too hot at some point. Let’s hope winter is not making any returning plans till like November or so.

That sounds absolutely wonderful!! I do envy you! We are having cold temps and gray skies this week. So fun. 🙁
I hope Spring comes soon for you.
Thanks for sharing your #TTT
Thanks Shelleyrae!
ooo i love cozies but i haven’t read many with a gardening theme. Will have to check some of these out! My TTT
It just seems like such a fun focus!
definitely!
Murder in the Rose Beds is gorgeous, and I love the idea of a vintage seed packet as a cover design! <3
Saving this post for my Cozy Mystery Bingo needs as well, haha
I have enjoyed Amanda Flower’s Farm to Table series so far, so I should try some of her others …
Here’s hoping you get a breath of fresh green air soon! 😀
Right? I think that was so clever!
Lol!! I am picking Daisies for Innocence up from the library this week. I am looking forward to it.
I loved that series, and also the magical bookshop one. This magical garden one seems like a great one to read this spring!
Thank you! I need one!
I am right there with you– winter can end any time now and I’d be just fine with that (as it is flurrying outside with a wintery mix predicted to hit during the commuter rush hour)… but thinking of gardening, even a bit of light murder is involved (LOL) sounds rather nice.
Ugh!! That sounds horrible! We have grey skies, cool temps, and rain this week. Woohoo. LOL!! It does!
Aww, so cute!
Thank you!
I didn’t know there were so many “murder in the garden” books. 🙂
Lol right?
There must be a thousand sub-genres of cozy mysteries. This seems like a very creative one.
There really are! Lol!
Those are definitely the same cats 😄 Great selection.
Lolol isn’t that funny? I had to include them both!
Cozy mysteries are such fun to read!

They are!
What a great topic for this week’s freebie. I love cozy mysteries, and these covers are wonderful. Thanks for sharing, Erin.

Thank you Cheryl!
I’ll be especially interested to hear your take on Statute of Innocents!
I’m looking forward to that one!
I love these! I love that there are so many cozy mysteries with a gardening theme. It’s also so apt because all I can think of is how convenient it is to dig holes in your garden to bury the bodies! 😂

Lol!! That is a very good point!!
Nice list, Erin. I really enjoy Amanda Flowers books, but haven’t read that series yet. Maybe it’s time.
I really enjoy her books too. She has so many different series!
Those are such pretty covers, but I love that title, A Hoe Lot of Trouble!

Lol doesn’t it crack you up? I like saying it too. Lol.
Nice list! I love how gardening seems to go well with cozy books!
It really does!
Fun topic, I think we are ALL so ready for spring!!
Yes! What is this weather! Do you have snow too?
All these are new to me but I love the theme. I had a friend recently tell me about her interest in Horticulture Therapy – what a great field of study!
Wow that really is! I feel like I need to look that up and read more about it!
Those book covers are really pretty!

Thanks! They make me believe maybe spring is coming eventually.
Love the genre interpretation! I love the idea of reading more about gardens while deep in a plot line. My ttt list is here if interested 🙂 https://theparteveryoneskips.com/posts/030426-books-on-the-southwest/
I know! I just finished Daisies for Innocence and it was so cute! I really liked it.
