Top Ten Tuesday: Typography

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Today’s Prompt: Book Covers Featuring Cool/Pretty/Unique/etc. Typography

Today I chose books off of my TBR, some that might even be at the top of my list for the next few months.

We’ve Got This: Essays by Disabled Parents || Beyond the Glittering World || Magic and Mischief at the Wayside Hotel

My Absolute Darling || The Murder at World’s End || How to Lose a Goblin in Ten Days

Mad Mabel || The Chowder House Murder || The Crescent Moon Tearoom || Death in the Arctic

Have you read any?

I hope that whatever you do today that you do something that makes you smile!

  1. With your choices I am not only marveling at the variety of typography but also the slant of the letters. I wonder if there is some research that says people are more attracted to slanted letters?

These all look like such fabulous fonts. I looked for Death in the Arctic at my local library after seeing your list. I need a book set in the arctic/antarctic for my 52 book challenge and that one sounds like a fun cozy mystery I’d enjoy.

  3. So many of these would be beautiful framed, right? That’s one of the things I dislike about libraries is having the spines showing rather than the fronts. I also realize that libraries would have to be massive in order to do that. But, covers are so influential, aren’t they?

  4. Oooh, I love all of these! Such pretty covers. I’ve read MAD MABEL, which I really liked. I haven’t heard of some of these, but I’m definitely going to have to take a closer look, especially at DEATH IN THE ARCTIC and THE CHOWDER HOUSE MURDER.

    Happy TTT (on a Thursday)!
