I didn’t know what to share here today, so I decided to be sort of silly, and tell you all my favorite Kevin Bacon roles. Lol. This list came about because over the summer my husband and I watched the tv show Sirens, and I was reminded about how much I like Kevin Bacon. We sat around chatting one day with my brother and his wife too, about Kevin Bacon movies and it was sort of a little bit of nostalgia. I’m not going to just keep saying Kevin Bacon was amazing in this movie, or whatever, since I obviously think so just by the existence of this list. Lol. I just think he brings his own little flair to everything. His Instagram with his wife is cute too.
We might as well start with Siren, which was a much more complex show that I had expected it to be.
Next, JFK. I used to watch this movie all the time! I loved it, even with the repetitive “back, and to the left”. So many talented actors were in this movie, but Bacon stands out to me whenever I think back to it.
Stir of Echoes is next up! This is such a great horror movie. It is not terribly gory if you like more of a thriller, but it is scary. I am totally watching this one this fall.
Since we are talking about horror, let’s add in Tremors.
And, we can’t forget The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.
Joanne reminded me that I meant to put The River Wild on here! I loved both The River Wild and White Water Summer, so I am putting them on here together.
Balto, which I recently watched with my son and learned that Kevin Bacon did the voice for Balto. Excellent job playing a wolf-dog hybrid who wants to save the children of Nome.
And then, finally, Footloose. Because of course.

Kevin Bacon was not one of my celebrity crushes growing up, but I did get a little crush on him maybe while watching Sirens. Lol. He’s a fun actor and is in so many different things!!

My husband used to watch Tremors all the time when we were younger. It was always on and if it was, he was watching. Lol.

I really liked Sirens, but his role was so not Kevin if you know what I mean. And, he did Balto? So Kevin…I do love his Instagrams and his very obvious love for his wife. I remember watching Tremors and being freaked out by the idea of those worms! Believe it or not, I’m probably the only person in the world who has never seen Footloose. But, I thought he was hilarious in Animal House. And, of course, there’s always the six degrees of Kevin Bacon! This was fun, Erin!

He was a very different Kevin Bacon in that show for sure. There was one scene though where I was like, yep that is totally a Kevin Bacon move there. Lol. Marsha!! How have you not seen Footloose! I shouldn’t talk though, since I haven’t seen Animal House. Thank you Marsha!!

I really thought I’d be nodding along to most on your list since we really enjoy most Kevin Bacon movies too but I’m kind of surprised how many of these I don’t remember– Like JFK and Stir of Echoes. My list would include Footloose of course but I’d also have to add Picture Perfect, The Air Up There, Apollo 13, The River Wild, He Said/She Said, & Hollow Man.

The River Wild! That was supposed to be on here! Dang I just realized I left it off! That is such a good movie. I haven’t seen the rest of those except Apollo 13! See, this is the beauty of Kevin Bacon. Apparently there are always movies still unwatched, waiting to be enjoyed. Lolol.

I didn’t know whether to start or finish with it! Lol. I don’t remember him in Apollo 13! I guess I need to rewatch that one!!

Kevin Bacon is great! His Insta is hilarious and heartwarming. I love it and also the segments he does on Jimmy Fallon’s show. The River Wild is one of my favorites. I need to rewatch it sometime. It’s been years since I’ve seen it.

I haven’t watched Footloose in FORever but I rewatched the new one so now I need to watch the old one again. The story is so entertaining (and the new one makes me laugh each time). 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting my list today.

Great post! I do love me some Kevin Bacon. I believe my favorite of his work is Tremors and, of course, Footloose. He (and his wife too) just seem like they would be so much fun to hang out with. Happy Wednesday!

I love your topic so much! I’m a huge fan of Kevin Bacon too, although I haven’t watched all his shows – there are so many! I’ve been wondering about Sirens though, and you’ve convinced me to give it a try. I also love Tremors and the Guardians of the Galaxy special that featured him, that was so awesome! Love these!

So, I’m sorry to say this, but I’m not a Kevin Bacon fan. I never did like Footloose. His wife, Kyra Sedgwick, huge fan!

This is such a fun list! I’ve only seen a few of these movies, but the ones I have seen were so good. Stir of Echoes was a bit on the scary side for me, but I am clearly going to have to check out the non-scary ones.
