This week’s prompt: Bookish Wishlist
So, this is a post where I am going to chat about books that I would like to own, and where we include our wishlists. I usually use the library, like 99% of the time, but sometimes there are just books I want to physically own. You all know how it is. No one is obligated to actually purchase any books for me. There are no expectations on sharing this. I
These are a few books that are gracing my list these days. I had added books at my husband’s request a bit ago, and I know he loves to buy me books by authors I collect, like John Lewis Stempel, or are hard for me to get from the library, are full of nature, or are classics that I will return to over and over again.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone’s lists today! Whatever you do today, I hope you do something that makes you smile!
THis is a good list. Raising Hare has appealed to me, too.

Ooh, Ponies at the Edge of the World is wonderful! My wishlist is quite terrifying. I add books to an easy Amazon one then look through them every once in a while and transfer them to the wishlist on my blog if I still want them. Hm.

Ponies at the Edge of the World looks amazing! Adding that to mine, haha… I am also super intrigued by La Vie
Pat of Silver Bush, and it’s sequel Mistress Pat – Montgomery is such a staple ❤

Both of those sound so good to me! I love John Lewis-Stempel, so that one I am really looking forward to!
And yay that is good to know! It sounded really good, and I am trying to branch out and away from Anne. I loved both Emily of New Moon and The Blue Castle. I am enjoying reading more of L.M. Montgomery!

Looks like you have a great and unique list of book wishes! I think I’ve only read ONE novel by L.M. Montgomery, but I need to read more so hopefully at some point I will. 🙂 Happy reading and thanks so much for visiting my list!

I’ve been working on reading more Montgomery the past year or two. I have read three now! Anne of Green Gables, Emily of New Moon, and The Blue Castle, which is my favorite so far. Thanks Rissi!

I splurged and bought 3 books on vacation… they now sit to the side as 8 books I had on request at the library came in and I’m trying to read them all before they’re due back!

Oh, my goodness! I had forgotten Our Only May Amelia! I don’t remember much, but I remember I loved it. The La Vie book reminds me of A Year in Provence. I would love to do that though I don’t speak French!

I never read that one! I do remember seeing it on the shelves, especially when I worked at the library, but I never read it. It looks pretty good!
Yes, La Vie reminds me of A Year in Provence too. And I love John Lewis-Stemple, so I am sure it is really good! I don’t speak French either. I am doing Italian on Duolingo though! Lolol.

I want to read Raising Hare also. My sister collects rabbit-oriented things. So it might also make a good gift.

Great list! I also only collect books that I plan to refer back to and reread, so I completely understand. I am not familiar with any of these books, but some sound super interesting. I’ll have to check them out!
