My Sunday-Monday Post

My Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer

Sunday Salon is hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date

Hello all!! I hope all is well with you!

Let’s just jump right in today, shall we?

Read Last:

The Spellshop and Greenwild. I absolutely adored both of these books so much!! The Spellshop in particular. I think it is a five star read for me!

Reading this Week:

I am reading both of these books right now. Sometimes Malamander, sometimes Gladwynn, and I love them both so far. Malamander is just so fun. I love the world that Thomas Taylor has created! And I am loving Gladwynn of course. I enjoyed the first two in the series so I expected to enjoy this one as well – and I am!

Posted Since My Last Sunday-Monday Post:

Top Ten Tuesday: Books Featuring Found Family

Top Ten Tuesday: Spring TBR

Wednesday Morning Coffee Catch Up

Book Reviews: Days at the Morisaki Bookshop, Emily of New Moon, Greenwild

Watching:

I feel it is more, what aren’t we watching? Not really, but we are watching three different shows which is weird for us. We tend to binge watch one until we are done! We are splitting our time between Dickinson, Our Flag Means Death (with Taika Waititi, who I may or may not have a celebrity crush on), and Severance Season 2.

In My Blogging World:

Lisa at Boondock Ramblings and I are hosting another film watching event for springtime. It is six weeks, six movies, and very easy going! If you want to watch one or all or a few, we would love to have you join in. Just watch along and comment on our posts or post your own thoughts and link up!

If you are interested, this is the schedule of movies!

Also, in January and February, Lisa and I were hosting Crafternoons and they turned out to be so much fun that we are continuing them on through the year. People craft, color, sometimes just chat, and we just have a lot of fun. Email me if you are interested to get on the email list! crackercrumblife@gmail.com.

  1. We just finished Severence Season 2. Then promptly turned off Apple+ until Silo drops again. I’m sorry I did not make it to the Crafternoon (again). Please keep sending the invites, I want to attend as soon as life settles back down.

  2. Oooh, Taika Waititi, a crush I may or may not understand. Have you seen the video in which he reads a letter about a speeding fine? I couldn’t stop laughing at the letter (not his), but also the way he read it and I keep going back to watch it.
You make me think I really should put a dose of fantasy back in my life, except for re-reads of my beloved Pratchetts, so I spontaneously ordered The Spell Shop now.

    1. Lololol! I haven’t but now I am going to look it up!!

Yay!! I think we all need the whimsy they provide. I think they can also deal with very real issues as well, but in a different presentation. The Spellshop is just a very uncomplicated, whimsical, happy book. I loved it.

Those Crafternoons sound fun! I’ve only been watching Downton Abbey and not even that lately since we’ve been in and out of town. I’m going to check out those middle grade books. My grandson may like one. Have a great week, Erin!

    1. Feel free to drop in on one anytime! We have a start time but people just arrive and leave according to their schedules. It’s just very easy! Malamander is so fun. I am reading it by myself and now I think Wyatt would love it too. You too Rachel!

I always love the covers of the books you read. They’re so good! I am reading We Solve Murders and am loving it. I love feisty old ladies! We’ve been watching “Legacies.” It’s only 4 seasons which seems like not that much. But, each season has like 14 hour long episodes! It’s a little formulaic, but they always throw in a twist.
