Top Ten Tuesday: Quotes about Love

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Today’s prompt is a love themed freebie. I went with love quotes from different books that I really liked!

Mr. Rochester…. would we call him a romantic hero? Probably not – sooo many red flags. However, I did really enjoy their story and how Jane returns to him on more equal footing.

I love Tress and Charlie’s romance! Just everything about it makes me smile.

If someone had told me that Stephen King would write a romance story that would make me cry my eyeballs out, I would not have believed them. But it happened.

I hope you all enjoy reading these words as much as I did!

Now I am off to get all filled up with happiness from reading your posts!

Aw, what a sweet collection, and I love that you did lovely graphics for each of them! My favourites are the Kingsolver, Fulghum and Green quotes. I like the wording as well as the sentiment. I hope you guys have a great week!

  2. I love that moth quote, it’s left me longing to read more. And the same thing applies to the quote from Tress Of The Emerald Sea. Stephen King isn’t a name I’d generally associate with romance either. I still need to read this particular book (I’ve actually only read two) but I know how complex and varied his characters and their storylines can be so I can see how a romance could follow on from that. I also still need to read Jane Eyre 🙈 although the second quote particularly intrigues me.

      1. I’ll have to give her work a try one day, I’ve seen a few titles around by her.

I guess that’s another I’ll have to try one day 😂 his catalogue of books is so big that it’s so hard knowing where to begin.

It’s one of the classics I’m most intrigued by

  3. I really like what you chose for the freebie! I haven’t read any of the books featuring these quotes, but there are a few on my TBR. And I love the way this lets us really get to see a snippet of the love story.
