Hello everyone!! I had a weird topsy-turvy week last week, for no reason at all. However, I did manage to read two books.
Read Last Week:

I enjoyed both of these books! I absolutely adored The Healing Season of Pottery, and Under Loch and Key was a really fun read. However, this is not a clean romance – it has swearing and spice of the open door kind, just so you are aware.
Reading This Week:

This week I am reading The Sad Ghost Club and Dating and Dragons. I checked out The Sad Ghost Club as part of our library’s Bingo challenge this winter. I needed a graphic novel to read to check off that box and this one just looked good.
Posted Last Week:

Strong Words, Strong Women Gift Guide
Gladwynn Grant Shakes the Family Tree
Watching:
Billy and I finished up Season one of Severance. Holy cow, that show messes with your head. I love it though! We are letting Season Two build up or even finish before we watch it. I don’t think I will want to wait for episodes! So in the meantime we are catching up on Murdoch Mysteries.
So far this is my favorite scene from Severance.
And that is about it from around here my friends! Stay safe out there! Try to do something today that makes you smile.
I am so curious about Severance. The library has finally got my hold on that DVD to #1 so, maybe next week I can get it. All anyone ever says about it is it’s odd so I don’t know what to expect.

Ooo I hope you like it!!! It’s hard to talk about because I don’t want to give anything away and it feels like if I say anything it will be too revealing. But it is weird. Lol.

It looks like a good reading week! I haven’t got Severance on my streaming services. Pity — it sounds good!

It is so good! It took me about three episodes to feel like I was all in, but then I loved it. And thank you so much!! I am glad they brought you some joy!

Everybody seems to be watching Severance. That probably means I should check it out. I hope you have a great week!

We watched Murdoch Mysteries for the first time last night. There are so many seasons though we won’t get too far before our Acorn ends later this month.

There are an absurd amount of seasons. Lol. We started watching at the end of the pandemic when we were still really in lockdown as a family so we had lots of time to catch up on them – but it took like over a year, I feel like. Lol.

We enjoy house reno shows and have been watching Fixer to Fabulous (similar to Fixer Upper). I hope you all have a great week!

I love a good house reno show too!! Although they make me itchy to make huge changes so it is bad for me to watch them. Lol.

I’m out of the Severance loop, hadn’t heard of it before today, with all the mentions. I don’t really watch much of anything. Just read, garden, cook and occasionally post something.

I actually had no idea what it was before she mentioned it either. I’m always behind the trends. haha!

I’m sorry it was a weird topsy-turvy week. We always have those, now and then sometimes, I think.
Dating and Dragons looks intriguing. I’m eager to hear more.

Things just weren’t lining up right for some reason. This week was also weird but for a different reason. Next week though – I am planning a return to routine!

Looks like a good week of reading despite everything! Hope the romance is a good one and not too…um….detailed. Ha!

Ugh I couldn’t get into it. It was too teen cringe. Can I say that? I probably sound like an old person using modern slang.

lol. I’ve heard cringe said a lot in my house. I think you’re okay.

I am glad you liked the first season of Severance! It was such an interesting show. I look forward to seeing season 2. I hope you have a great week!

Under Loch and Key was cute! The spice scenes were very spicy though, and I ended up skipping those. I plan to review it tomorrow!
Severance is soo good!! I know we have episodes we can watch of season 2 but I want to let them build up. Lol.

I’m going to have to look for Severance. We are almost done with Younger which is so goofy. But, we’ve gotten through six seasons with only one to go! Sometimes, you need to watch goofy, right? I think Nosferatu is next.
