Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great week! Our week was pretty good over here. I have been working on some projects pretty diligently and feel like I got a lot accomplished. I am starting up a cub scout troop for Wyatt and some other kids with different needs and I got my first few tasks done to get it up and running.
Read Last Week:
Last week I read Gladwynn Grant Takes Center Stage by Lisa Howeler, or Lisa over at Boondock Ramblings. This is the second in her Gladwynn Grant series and it was wonderful! I literally could not put it down and read it probably in 24 hours.
Reading This Week:
This week I am reading The Darling Buds of May and Witcha Gonna Do? I liked the crazy show The Larkins and am looking forward to reading the books that inspired it. My SIL in gave me Witcha Gonna Do and it sounds right up my alley.

Watching:
Billy and I are watching Fallout and Only Murders in the Building Season 3. I thought OMITB was a bit of a slow start this season but I am enjoying it more as everything starts to come together. Fallout is another one that I liked more as we watched more. We need to pick a movie for our movie night which is now on Sunday. It is my turn to pick this time – I think I am going with The Fall Guy. I loved the tv show as a kid. I know that this will be different than my childhood show but I think it will still be fun. (ETA: Ok so this is not streaming yet. I got so used to everything being streamed, even new movies, that I jumped the gun on this one! So, our movie pick tonight is still up on the air!)
Hmm. Speaking of the tv show The Fall Guy, I think it is time to introduce Wyatt to this 80’s masterpiece. He has already watched Newhart. Oh man. Now I am thinking about all these old shows that I watched as a kid! MASH, The A Team, Knight Rider, Magnum PI, Cheers, Facts of Life.. so many!! I think we will start with the Fall Guy though. And we can start with the movie! There that is settled. Lol.
And that is it from my corner of the world! What have you all been up to?
Glad it sounds like you had a productive week! 🙂 Witcha Gonna Do has such a cute cover, and it sounds like it’s right up my alley as well. Can’t wait for your thoughts on it!

The Darling Buds of May was a solid gem:)). I also enjoyed the Radio Four dramatisation of it longer ago than I care to think. I hope you also enjoy the book. I haven’t read that one, but I’ve always enjoyed Bates’ writing. Have a great week.

I love your blog header with beautiul flowers and happy faces.
I realize that I hardly ever watch shows that aren’t streaming. I would like to see some of those old shows again, too, like Bob Newhart.
Enjoy whatever movie you pick.

When I was in grade school, or maybe middle school, I wanted to see the series finale of The Facts of Life. I fell asleep before it came on and my mom didn’t wake me up. I woke up right after it ended and I was furious since we didn’t have streaming back then. To this day, I haven’t ever seen the series finale. I guess I should look that up!

I want to see The Fall Guy when it comes out too. Love Emily Blunt. I need to look up Fallout because it seems a lot of bloggers have been enjoying it. Have a wonderful week, Erin!

I watched a lot of those shows too. I loved the A Team and Knight Rider especially. I may try to take in The Fall Guy.
Exciting about the Cub Scout troop. I was my daughter’s Girl Scout leader, cookie mom, helped out with county camps and did new leader training. I couldn’t every get a co-leader and you have to have 2 adults so I had each family sign up to co-host one meeting with me.

Good luck with the cub scout troop. I was a girl scout leader (and cookie mom)for years… big commitment, but so worth it!

I think that is wonderful you are starting a Cub Scout troop. I was a Brownie leader for many years so I can appreciate what you’re doing! I’m sure Billy will help, too!
My rose bushes are covered with buds, but, unfortunately, something has been eating them. I hate using insecticides, but overnight, some of the leaves have been completely eaten. So, I sprayed both bushes. I hope yours have arrived and are looking good.
Mike has been watching some dumb Star Trek show. I loved most of them, but this particular one leaves me cold. I just pretend to watch it and knit or crochet!
Have a fabulous week, Erin, Wyatt, and Billy!

Today would be a perfect day for reading some of your choices as it is pouring down rain. No chance of going outside for anything.

I can’t wait to hear about your work in getting a Cub Scout group going for Wyatt and others. I enjoyed my time as a leader. Sometimes I think I enjoyed it as much as the kids!
So glad to hear how much you enjoyed Lisa’s book, Gladwynn Grant Takes Center Stage.

I am sooo nervous about it! Lol. I am more excited than nervous though, and I really want to create this opportunity for Wyatt and the other kids. I am sure I will love it too, as I love this sort of thing. 🙂
I did really enjoy it!
