Hello everyone!! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend, if you had a holiday weekend. If not, I hope you just had a wonderful weekend! We were busy busy, bustling about, getting ready to host Thanksgiving and then being lazy bums Friday before decorating for Christmas on Saturday. It was a pretty good weekend!
Reading Now:
I actually read guys!! I am halfway through my book and it is so good. It definitely makes me want a bookmobile even more than I did before – although, I would want to skip certain aspects that pop up in this cozy mystery, if you know what I mean!

Up Next:

This book was all about the cover. I love this truck! And wait – why am I all of a sudden so focused on modes of transport? Wyatt must be rubbing off on me!!

What We Are Watching:
Let’s see…I feel like we have watched quite a bit! We usually binge watch but this past week we have been skipping around. We watched the British Ghosts, Father Brown’s newest season (BritBox), and Wheel of Time (Amazon Prime). We also watched another Hallmark Christmas movie last night – A Merry Scottish Christmas. It was pretty cute, but the best part was the castle, of course. I have a review coming up on this soon!
I also want to talk about the newest season of Father Brown and all the changes. Anyone else watch it or watching it? I have opinions…

And that is it for today! I hope you all are having a good one!
I’ve read a few of the Bookmobile cat mysteries and found them really entertaining.

Father Brown was something I watched with my Mom so I haven’t seen it in over a year. What are the changes that they made? Let’s have your opinions.
Sounds like you had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend and I am very glad of that!

Bunty and Mrs. McCarthy are gone! I can handle some changes but I loved Mrs. McCarthy, she was my favorite character! I don’t know if I can do an almost entirely new cast. Lady Felicia is on it, but not all of the episodes. 😦 It makes me sad!

Great looking titles! I have noticed Father Brown when I am scrolling, and now I want to check it out. Enjoy your week.

I would love to have a bookmobile. I wonder if there are any with living quarters included…Wouldn’t that be fun?!
I didn’t get much reading done, but we’ve been to lots of holiday get-togethers. Next weekend I will be off again. I do want to slow down. Hopefully I will get in a little Thankfully Reading Weekend today.

Wouldn’t that be so cool!!! And yeah, you could go on road trips with your bookmobile if one had living quarters. Hmmm.
You have been super busy with your four Thankgivings!! I hope you get some time to unwind and relax and read. 🙂

I bailed on Father Brown a couple of years ago because the changes annoyed me and I’m a grump when I don’t like changes. Ha.
we like the British version of Ghosts but I haven’t tried the American version because I liked the British version so much.

Lol I know you are not a fan of that.
I love both honestly. But I love Rose McIver who is in the American Ghosts so I figured I would like it. It is different though.

I loved the Christmas in Evergreen movie. Not nearly caught up with Father Brown. I’ll look forward to hearing about the changes.

After I finish the book, I will have to check out the movie!
I don’t want to spoil anything so I will keep them to myself!

Christmas in Evergreen looks adorable. We decorated on Friday and were sloths on Saturday.

That truck is cute and A Merry Scottish Christmas looks like a heartwarming romance. I’d love the setting as well! Hope you have a lovely week, Erin!

We did!
Our corner of the state doesn’t get as much snow! It is sort of a bummer! It goes around us!

Are you getting hit by that winter snow storm? If you’re all decorated for Christmas, it will look so nice! I am reading another Inspector Gamache murder mystery. I want to move to Three Pines which is somewhere close to Montreal or Quebec…but it’s also fictional so there’s that.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and went to Winterlights on Sunday. It was gorgeous as always.
Have a fabulous week, Erin!

We got a tiny bit of it, not too much. Our corner of the state I think gets the least amount of snow! 😦
I loved the tv show Three Pines based on those books. I was disappointed that Amazon decided not to renew the show!
I am so glad that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! And I am excited to hear about snowlights, that sounds amazing!

Wyatt is such a fan of the Christmas tree, that we get it up a little early. I used to wait until at least December.
Father Brown is a good cozy. 🙂

So I totally bought the Christmas cookies curriculum and am so looking forward to getting started on it tomorrow! I’ve watched the Hallmark movie that’s based off the book and it’s so sweet and wonderful. I hope you love it! The Laurie Cass series is a fun one and one I definitely need to read more of. It’s so great to get back in the reading mode after stalling out! I hope you’re having a wonderful week.
