Hello everyone! I hope you had a lovely week last week! I am still working on balancing time management and life, homeschooling, blogging, all the things. My routine is not set quite yet but it will get there.
Read Last Week:

I really enjoy settling down at night with these cozy mysteries by Amanda Flower! I love the characters and the setting in this series, a Northern Michigan farm!
Reading Next:

I can’t decide which of these I want to read next!
Posted Last Week:

Wednesday Morning Coffee Catch Up: Welcome Fall
Homeschooling: Here We “Van Gogh” again!
Comfy Cozy Cinema: Arsenic and Old Lace
Watching and Listening:
We have been obsessed with Dark Winds! It is so well done in every way. We are also watching This Farming Life on BritBox, and When Calls the Heart as the episodes come out. I like to binge watch them so I am bummed I have to wait like in the olden days. Lol.
I will say I have been enjoying getting into my pajamas earlier this past month, as the nights get darker earlier as well. We just all plop into the bed and either read or watch tv or YouTubes. Wyatt will fall asleep there, and I get Miso cuddles and Billy and I just watch tv and chat. I have my mint tea next to me on the nightstand and honestly it is so cozy and I am so content. It’s the small things.

How are all of you? What is making you smile these days?
I’m looking forward to the arrival of fall soon here. We’ve been told a cold front is coming down this week. I love autumn and the cooler temperatures.
Both Cold Clay and Berries and Bones look like perfect fall reads.

I don’t know about anyone else, but your link on this week’s Sunday Salon doesn’t work for me.
Sounds like you are enjoying all the fall cozy things! Nice! We are, too, this weekend, but I looked at the forecast and was annoyed to see the 90Fs are coming back next week. Noooooooooooo.

I enjoy the evenings getting darker, but I hate that the mornings take longer to get light…it delays my walks and kills my motivation. I hope you are able to find your perfect balance with all the things soon! Have a great week!

I am reading another Armand Gamache mystery and keep finding myself straying from it even though I enjoy it. Weird, right? I am so ready for fall. I love when nightfall is earlier. Everything is just cozier. I haven’t broken out any winter pjs though as it’s still warm in the house overnight.
I hope you have a wonderful week!

You always read books that match the seasons and I am just out there going — ummm… this works I guess? I want to read that Amanda Flowers series. I need to add it back to my TBR!

Those look like good fall books to read! I love the show “When Calls The Heart” but I haven’t been able to see all the seasons.

Miso is very cute! Strictly Come Dancing is back (as is Taskmaster, not sure you get that, probably not suitable for Wyatt as a bit sweary but it’s so funny) so we’re back in our autumn habit of me stopping work a bit early and sitting on the sofa for the sister programme with all the interviews and gossip every weekday.

I’ve been doing the same thing — going to bed early. Sometimes reading, sometimes just sleep. Change of seasons!

The seasons have finally changed in north Texas. It is in the 50s at night. We’ve had some rain.
I’m battling a UTI right now. I have an antibiotic to take.
I’m still dealing with chronic migraines. I’m taking a second preventative migraine med. It is a med that I build up to. The migraines bring nausea. This past week I’ve had nausea from both migraines and the UTI.
We’re in the middle of repairs after storm damage from back in September.
There is a lot going on in our home right now.
At night, and before sleeping, I am listening on Audible to Frankenstein.
I am watching on YouTube some of the Thin Man movies with Myrna Loy and William Powell.

Annette, I read this a few days ago and I am only now able to respond, but I feel so bad that you are also going through such a hard time.I am hoping that things are going better for you now, and that your infection has cleared, as well as your migraines. 😦
Those Thin Man movies are awesome.
