This week was yet again another busier than I wanted week. Things should be much much better by next week – and we will have air conditioning too! Yay! Today we are camping out at my mom’s while a new furnace and a/c unit are installed – Wyatt is actually coloring with my mom right now as I type.
Read Last Week/Reading This Week:
Nothing. I was dismal at reading last week. I had so many good intentions but they went out the window sadly. I have high hopes for this week though. I am switching my plan – I think I need something not so serious and Bacchanal is sitting on my Kindle. I love this cover!

Posted Last Week:
Our Butterfly Project #4 (look for #5 this Tuesday instead of Wednesday!)
Watching:
The Tour de France, and last week I also watched Shark Week! I love shark week and I have been watching it for longer than I would care to say.
Super short post today! How are you guys doing?
Bacchanal sounds good! That cover pulls me in.

Oh man, I could not survive without air conditioning – if ours wasn’t working, I’d probably be at my mom’s house all the time!

It’s been a situation. We have spent the last two weeks in the bedroom huddling around the portable unit. The rest of our house has felt awful. Lol.

I have no idea what Bacchanal is but it does not look like my type of book. I could be totally wrong, of course, because I have been in the past.
I think I might actually finish three books this week. It’s a miracle. We will see how distracted I get.
Right we are enjoying a drop in temps (finally!) but I have a feeling they will be back up the rest of the week.

Lol! We will see if it is my kind of book this week. Nothing has really been my type of book lately it seems like. 😦 I am having a hard time concentrating lately.
That is awesome! Good job!
And I hope so. I can’t wait for fall weather!

Bacchanal looks like it will be a great read. Beautiful cover.
I’m sorry you didn’t get any reading done last week. It’s a miracle that I did, with our house stuffed full of people!
Our new air conditioner cut our bills in half. Our old one, to its credit, kept us going for thirty years, and that’s something.

Lol that is impressive!!
That is what we have heard. This one was..hmm. Probably around 30 years old! I am pretty excited to see how it affects our bill now!

I hope you HVAC gets setup soon. We went through that last year the whole month of June. I found it hard to be productive when I was too hot, and didn’t sleep well either. I find changing book genres keeps me happily reading.

That is exactly how it it has been around here. I’ve been so blah and hot and I haven’t wanted to do anything. But now we have air again yay!

With the heat and humidity where I live there is no way I, or anyone I know could live without a/c. We’d all be finding a hotel room.
I’m in another reading slump but my audio reads are going strong. I just finished The Invisible Husband of Frick Island and now am listening to Falling by T. J. Newman. Frick Island was a 5* and Falling so far is one of the best books I’ve read in a very long time.
I hope you have a great week!

I think I am in a slump! I feel like I just can’t get into anything right now. Maybe it is just summer and I am interested in different things right now? The heat making me lazy? Whatever it is, I wish it would end. Lol. That Frick Island book keeps catching my eye!

It was nice to spend that time with my mom. We ended up sleeping over and Wyatt thought that was so cool. 🙂 And our A/C is all better now. 🙂

I used to love watching Shark Week. Now we don’t have cable but we do have Disney which includes National Geographic and I saw several shark shows listed.
