Hi everyone!! My week was a bit hectic, playing catch up from spring break plus some family things going on as well. This weekend though we took a walk in the woods and saw so many signs of spring, including a little frog we spotted that was peeping out at us. We also celebrated my niece’s birthday today. She is such a little glamour girl already at two, walking around with her toy phone and toy lipstick, adorned in her sparkly shiny necklace and bracelet. Plus, there was cannoli cake!
Read:
I still didn’t end up reading Finale! I am not as great at reading on my Kindle although I am trying to be better about it, for many reasons. However, I did read this review book and I couldn’t stop reading it! I picked it up one afternoon and had it finished by the next day, which four years ago wasn’t a big deal, but now is a huge sign I loved a book. Review coming soon!
Reading This Week:
I will probably be reading from these three over this week. I can’t quite land on a book fully it seems lately!

Watching:
Not too much. We spent the week running about and by the time evening rolled around we were wiped out! When we did have a second to take a break and watch tv, we just watched whatever was on HGTV.
So what about you guys? What all is going on in your neighborhood?
I love frogs! Sounds like you guys are enjoying the early days of spring. 🙂
Glad Only Ever Her was good!

I’m looking forward to the Robyn Carr – I think that is where I will start! 🙂

I love walks in the woods this time of year. It’s nuts the level of excitement a little frog can inspire but it’s nice seeing them. 🙂

Yes lol!! Our little frog was in a vernal pool, so we were super excited to see so both the pool and the frog! He tried to hide but my husband spotted him! I love it too, looking for all the new signs of spring!

It took me a minute to find the frog… early spring walks are the best! Glad you guys are finally enjoying some decent weather. Your books look good, too.

They really are! So much new growth and little sproutings everywhere. This week is kind of cold and rainy but I guess we need the rain to foster all those new growths!
Thanks for stopping by!

So neat to see a frog. Cannoli cake sounds yumy. I don’t think I’ve ever had a cannoli before.

Ooo I love a cannoli. Some are definitely better than others – make sure it wasn’t frozen before you eat one, if you try one. So good.
We were so excited about our little frog!

Signs of spring are definitely nice to see. The winter wasn’t bad here, but it seemed to last forever. I just planted the early spring vegetables this weekend.
Your books look like fun. Hope you enjoy them. Thanks for visiting my blog last week.

I felt like that was our winter too – not terrible but never ending. We can’t quite plant yet, but getting there. I do have some seeds started though, that I am excited to get into the ground. 🙂
And thanks!

I’ve never eaten cannoli, it’s just not a common thing here, my kids did bake me a vanilla cake for my birthday yesterday though 🙂
Have a great reading week

The Familiars looks captivating. I hope the story is as good as the cover. Maybe you will settle into your books this week. I hate it when I can’t get comfortable in a book.
