Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
This week I bummed around, trying to get different projects completed around the house. Friday Wyatt and I went visiting and had playdates, and then this weekend Billy and I had a date night, which was wonderful! It was a bit of a slower paced week and weekend for us, but it was nice to do some “at home” things too. Tonight my brother and family are coming over and we are making vegetarian colcannon and hanging out. It will be a nice end to our weekend.
Read Last Week:
I couldn’t decide what to read last week. I have too many choices right now and that makes it so hard for me! Lol. I ended up starting this Bill Bryson book, because I love his work and he makes me laugh. Then I reread The Little Beach Street Bakery because March is my book club hosting month, and I chose this for us to read. 🙂 I thought it would be a fun read for springtime – plus I can serve lots of yummy bakery bread at book club! I didn’t finish Little Dribbling yet, but I love it. I will keep working on it this week too.
Reading This Week:
In addition to Little Dribbling, I will be finishing up this review book. I love RaeAnne Thayne and I am looking forward to this one! My review will be up Wednesday.
Watching:
Shakespeare and Hathaway, Top Chef, Criminal Minds (I never watched it before and we are addicted lol), and we are getting ready to watch The Order.
So, how about you all? What’s going on in your neighborhood?
It’s been years since I read anything by Jenny Colgan. She was one of my ‘go tos’ about 15 years ago… That makes me feel old, lol, but I started reading her as a teenager. 🙂

I just started reading her last year, and became quickly addicted! They are very fun, and I love the quirky characters and towns. 🙂

The Cliff House is a great read! The names remind me of a Fitzgerald novel! Lol.

I know right? LOL me too! I’ve become such an Anglophile, with my British reading and tv shows. We had a nice night, good people and dinner was pretty good too. Lol.

Yes, they are so good sometimes. It’s nice to have that time to just putter about. This week is full of appointments and I’ll be running like a crazy person, so it was good I had an easy week leading in!

We’ve stayed in this weekend as the teenager caught a head cold from all the teenagers coming to school sick w/or w/out a fever and I was run down and need to take some Tylenol and sleep. Feeling much better and worked out for 47 minutes over two machines while reading book five or so of the Throne of Glass series.

Ugh I hate that! 😦 I am so ready for cold and flu season to be over! I am glad that you were able to recoup so nicely. Sometimes a rest will do the trick! I really want to read that series. I need to get to it one day!

Nice looking books. You reminded me of the Bill Bryson book that’s been on TBR mountain for years. I should add it to my reading stack. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

A slow week is nice. It gives one time to ponder things instead of just doing the priority things right now. Nice selection of books! I hope this week is also pleasant.
