Today’s Prompt: Cozy/Atmospheric Reads
So today, instead of making a list of cozy/atmospheric books that I have read, because I feel this is pretty much everything I read and I talk about the ones that I have read all of the time, I am going to make a list of ten books on my TBR that fit the prompt.
I am thinking about the months ahead, which here in Michigan will be cold and gray, maybe with snow, maybe without. I am going to need books to curl up with on those long dark nights, that are made for reading. So I went with all cozy reads today.
This post does contain Amazon Affiliate links. I would receive a small commission if you were to click a link and make a purchase at no extra cost to you.

Sugar Shack || Natural Barn Killer || The Hidden World of Gnomes

The Enchanted Greenhouse ||Dinner at the Night Library|| A Fellowship of Librarians & Dragons

The Vanishing Cherry Blossom Bookshop || Yeonnam-dong’s Smiley Laundromat || The Amberglow Candy Store

I hope that whatever you do today, you do something that makes you smile!
As the days grow shorter and colder, cozy is the big word that comes to mind. Cozy books, tea or comfort food, a nice blanket. You have some good choices here!

Yes! And these nights have already gotten chillier. I have been enjoying my vintage handmade quilts – they are so warm and yep, cozy!

I really enjoyed the first book in this series. It was just really low stakes and easy and cozy.

I’m curious about The Vanishing Cherry Blossom Bookshop.

I think that one looks so good – but I want to wait for spring to read it. 🙂

Oh, that’s a shame! But at least I’ll go into it knowing now.

Cozy books (and life!) forever! ❤
I have several of these on my TBR as well: Vanishing Cherry Blossom and Enchanted Greenhouse (the Penner and Flower ones as well, once I catch up in the series) 🙂

Lol agreed!!
I have The Enchanted Greenhouse all checked out from the library right now but it feels like the wrong time to read it. I might have to wait.

The Durst books get me with their gorgeous covers all the time! I have struggled with those because they might be too cozy, for me.

Those covers are so pretty, aren’t they? They are pretty cozy and low stakes, without much tension.

I understand your feelings! I look forward to reading books to give warm fuzzy feelings as the temperatures drop.

My TBR just grew by quite a few books lol. These look so cute! And while I didn’t enjoy The Spellshop the cover for The Enchanted Greenhouse is one of the prettiest I’ve seen.

These all look really good. I’m currently reading Kristin Hannah’s The Four Winds. Why didn’t I pick a nice cozy read after Chlorine?

That was a great idea to make your list about cozy books on your TBR pile instead of books you’ve already read! Those cold, dark Michigan nights sound like the perfect time to curl up with a truly cozy read. The Vanishing Cherry Blossom Bookshop and Dinner at the Night Library both sound absolutely lovely and like they would fit the prompt perfectly. I hope you enjoy them when you get to them!

Thank you Leah!! I hope you like them when you read them! I have been really into the Korean healing fiction lately – really all these cozy translated fiction books. And of course the fantasy ones too. Lol. Ugh and the mysteries! I am really settling in to cozy I guess. Lolol

I think I have to start looking into the Korean healing fiction – any tips on which to start with?

I actually started with a non-Korean version – What You Are Looking For is in the Library. It kind of opened the door to all cozy translated fiction for me!

Hahahaha, I love the title. It’s kind of true, especially since I will be checking with my library to see if they have that book. It would be kind of ironic if what I was looking for was *not* in the library!

Lol!!! I hope you are able to find it! Lol.
