Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl
Today’s prompt is all books I read but never reviewed – and whether I liked them. Unfortunately, this one is easy for me. I was very bad about reviewing last year! My goal is to do mini-reviews this year after I read 3 or 4 books and I have been doing pretty well. Granted it is still only February but I am determined!

The Teller of Small Fortunes: I LOVED it!
A Fellowship of Bakers and Magic: Also, loved it
Christa Comes Out of Her Shell: Yes, I liked it!

A Psalm for the Wild Built: Loved it and have recommended it personally to friends but never reviewed it
The Easy Life in Kamusari: It was pretty good.
Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop: Also one I enjoyed.

The Full Moon Coffee Shop: I didn’t care for it too much honestly
Sisters of the Lost Nation: Loved it!!
The Vanishing of Aveline Jones: Loved it. I love this whole series!

To Fetch a Felon: I adored this book and of course, the little corgi as well! I still want a corgi darn it. And, I want to read more in this series!
Great list of book and corgis are so cute!

I get frustrated with myself when I skip a review on a book. I like to at least write down a few thoughts about it. If I wait a few days, everything is gone.

Lol that is me. I am like, now what was that character’s name… lol.

There are many times I have to refer to my Goodreads page to refresh my memory. I really want another book like the book about magical defensive gingerbread men!

I am just awful at reviewing. I will read a book and tell myself for weeks to review it and months later finally do it.

Some books, despite their quality, can be challenging to review!

I have thought a lot about this. I regularly mean to review a book and just put it off long enough that I don’t remember it clearly enough to review (which really doesn’t take that long these days as my memory is not as good as it once was…). I think my reviewing and blogging in general has changed a lot since becoming a mom, too, because there’s just less time and energy left over. Plus I think book blogging is a unique pursuit because it’s double time and effort – it takes a lot of time to read the books, then there’s still the blogging. And if I have to choose, I’ll always choose reading over blogging! I like your idea of mini-reviews, because that way the books are on the blog, but it’s more manageable!

These are all really good points!! My memory is also a little whiffy at times, especially with books. I chalk that up to mom brain and perimenopause. And absolutely being a mom has affected my blogging. Our jobs are never done lol. The mini-reviews have been so much easier to do. I write up a little paragraph of my thoughts, etc and done!

Oh, the mom brain/perimenopause double whammy! Add that to my existing ADHD and honestly it’s a miracle I remember who *I* am most days! I love being a mom so much, my kid is my heart, but definitely things that used to be just fun, easy tasks before kid are now huge, or just not as much fun as hanging out with said kid now that that’s the alternative use of time and energy! I’m going to have to give the mini-review idea a bit more thought. I’ve done that on my yearly reading pages for the books I read each year and didn’t review, but I haven’t done like a post. Maybe I should add mini-reviews to my weekly reading wrap-up posts when it’s been like 4 months and I haven’t gotten around to it or something! At least I’m not the only one!

I used to write reviews for myself ages ago, way before the internet, just so I would remember what was what, but now my list would be miles long, lol.
Mini-reviews sound like a good idea!

Lol!! I started a reading journal type thing this year with some abbreviated thoughts, quotes and stickers. I love doing that. It helps with my mini reviews too, since I sometimes need a little reminding…

While I read and enjoyed Hyunam-Dong Book Shop and The Full Moon Coffee Shop, I’m not sure I could write a full review for either.

I need to read more of the corgi books too. The Teller of Small Fortunes and a couple of others look very good as well. I am fairly good at sharing reviews, but there have been quite a few I have missed.

It was such a cute cozy!! I need to find more. The Teller of Small Fortunes is such a sweet book. 🙂 Although, if you need a book that is just cozy and happy 100%, then you need to read A Fellowship of Bakers and Magic. Lol.

It seems like a lot of people haven’t reviewed that one! One of my favorite YouTubers did a review on it, but I was sad to hear that she didn’t like it! I just think she didn’t quite understand what the genre was about. She felt like it would have been a better manual for someone wanting to open a bookstore. Lolol.

I’m glad you enjoyed the majority of these. I haven’t read any of them, but a couple are on my TBR list.
Happy TTT!

Thanks Susan!! I am a big DNF person, I will not finish a book if I am not liking it usually. So most of the books I read, I liked.

I love the mini reviews you’ve been sharing lately 🥰 I’m excited about a few of the books you’ve mentioned here too, especially Small Fortunes, it sounds so good. You convinced me to add Sisters Of The Lost Nation when you mentioned it in a previous post too. Aww how sweet that a book made you want a corgi 🥰

Thank you Charlotte! They are so much easier to manage! Small Fortunes is so good! I really enjoyed Sister of the Lost Nation too. And they are so cute!!!

I love your list! First of all, I think that a good corgi meme or gif makes everything better – have you read Queenie by Candice Carty-Williams? The MC is named Queenie, and her group chat with her best friends is titled ‘the Corgis!’ Just beware, it’s the kind of read that addresses some very deep issues as well.
This is such a good list, and I saw some books that I really am drawn to, especially The Teller of Small Fortunes, which has been on my TBR for an entirely unacceptable length of time.

Oh that sounds awesome. And no I have not read it. I will have to look for it. And thanks for the heads up about it as well.
Thanks Leah! Lol. I have books like that too!! There just isn’t enough time is there!

I’m going to need an immortal to share their immortality with me, and I might make it through my TBR. Probably not even then, if I’m being honest with myself.
