Happy December everyone! It’s a weird and misty day outside this morning here! Thank goodness for my coffee and my comfy quilt.
Read Last Week:

So I finished up Lending a Paw and it was adorable! Minus the murder of course. And I still want to run a bookmobile, preferably one with a cat companion!
I also listened to The Gingerbread House in Mistletoe Gardens on Hoopla, and it was delightful! It was not my intended book to read after the Laurie Cass but I wandered over to Hoopla for an audiobook and found this one.
Reading This Week:

I am actually going to start this one this week. I will probably combo read and listen because well, it’s December!

Watching and Listening:
This week we have been watching Wheel of Time Season 2, Father Brown (although, I am not a fan of this newest season), and Christmas movies. We watched A Garfield Christmas (1987 version!) last night with Wyatt and he loved it. I did too, but I always shed a few tears watching this one, believe it or not.
Lisa from Boondock Ramblings and I are hosting a Comfy Cozy Christmas Linkup this year! We each have a dedicated page on our blogs with the linky, and we would love to have you link up as well! It is open to all seasonal holiday traditions, not just Christmas, but we just really like alliteration. Anyway, you can find that in my list of pages or under the header, depending on where you view the blog from!
And that is it from my world this week! I hope you all are well!
You’re a reading machine this month! How you manage is beyond me!

We’ve been watching a lot of Christmas movies too. We watched The Grinch yesterday. Brooklyn seemed to like it.

I can’t believe we haven’t watched that one with Wyatt yet. What the heck is wrong with us? Lol.

I love Garfield, and if this is the same special I’m thinking about, I always cry, too. Jim Davis is a Hoosier, so Garfield was always a big deal in my classroom.
We haven’t watched any Christmas shows yet. I need to get on that. I finally got the house all decorated. Tomorrow, I have to tackle putting tubs in order so the garage isn’t the mess it currently is!
Have a wonderful week, Erin! I did link my Winterlights post up on your link party! Thanks for that!

I’m sure it is….the grandma? Ugh big tears! Billy was like seriously Erin? Lol. I had no idea that Jim Davis was a Hoosier!
Yay for getting your house all decorated!
And I saw that! Thank you for linking up!

I want to add those Christmas books to my list! I’m always such a slow reader though so maybe I will read them in January. Ha!

My library doesn’t have Hoopla! Isn’t that crazy. But they have Libby so I will see if they are there.

I love reading Christmas books but I never seem to do it, except rereading the same books year after year. What’s your favorite Christmas book? Maybe I should try some new ones.
Have a lovely month! Cheers! My Sunday Salon post

Hmm. My love of them began when I was a teen/new adult and my mom would put these collections of novellas in my stocking. They were Regency Christmas romances and I just loved them. I will always recommend them! Anything by Mary Balogh for sure too. I am going to have to put some more thought in to this!

So glad to see how much you enjoyed the book about the bookmobile. It’s always been something I’d secretly like to do.
Your Comfy Cozy Christmas sounds really fun. I’ve enjoyed participating in a couple of Christmas Advent events in years past. Maybe I can pull together something during December.

I love Christmas movies but haven’t watched on this year! I need to start. One of my favorites is It Happened on Fifth Avenue and I missed it last year. I’ve only read one book in the Laurie Cass series but I really enjoyed it. It’s definitely a series I want to read more from. The Gingerbread House in Mistletoe Gardens looks absolutely adorable! Have a great week!
