Last week was Music Camp – and a complete whirlwind of a week, honestly. I did not get much reading done but this week, my plan is to take things slow and easy for Wyatt and I. So far our summer has been jam packed full of goodness and being busy and I hope to take a few weeks of laid back summer daydreaming and just chilling in July.
Read Last Week:
I finally got to this one and it was a total treat! I flipped through it while drinking some coffee, wishing I was in the woods or the mountains somewhere, looking into the wilderness from my own lodge room. It was a book for dreaming by, that is for sure.
Reading This Week:
I totally used to be able to read this many books in a week. Those days are over for me right now, but I am going to hopefully read at least two of the three!
I did start Dial A for Aunties last week and it was making me snort laugh out loud while reading it, all in the first chapter so it is off to a good start. I can’t wait to dive back into it later tonight!
Posted Last Week:
Watching and Listening:
Billy and I are still watching Death in Paradise at night. We do a lot of rewatches when we are tired out or need comfort tv (me). We hadn’t seen the first few seasons in a while and it is fun to revisit them.
While I was gone I watched a lot of my YouTube peoples after Wyatt went to bed, mostly With Love, Kristina and The Cottage Fairy .
And that is about it from here today folks! Happy Father’s Day to all of you fathers or grandfathers out there!
Lodge sounds interesting. There are many parks I haven’t been to and I’d love to read about them. Here’s my SP: https://bonniereadsandwrites.com/2023/06/18/sunday-post-read-review-read-some-more/

It was a beautiful look inside ten of the National Parks. A great book to just sit and relax with for sure.

I remember those days when I got in little reading, those days when I spent a lot of time with kids. I remember feeling very tired most days, but wonderful memories now.
I hope you get a little more time this week, especially for Aunties.

I am sooo tired at the end of the day, but that good tired, when you have spent the day exploring and playing and having a good time. Wyatt and I crash out every night lol.
Thanks Deb!

I love lodges so I should probably get that book. 🙂 It looks like it would be great to look through when you’re pining for up north!

I hope Music camp was fun too. But after going and all the projects in May, I’ve been relaxing a bit more in June.

We did have a great time at Music Camp! It was hard work for him in some ways, but he had huge smiles other times. 🙂 It was definitely fun.
You have been going hard! I am glad you are taking a break.

Lodge looks good! I love books about National Parks. I’d love to find one on some of the lore and maybe a bit of true crime but haven’t had much luck yet. You had such a busy week! I hope you are able to get some good rest and relaxation this week!

That would be cool! I think there is one book about people who have gone missing in National Parks. Hmm. I will have to look it up. And the podcast National Parks After Dark had NP true crime stories.

Lodge is one I’d be interested in. I’d love to visit all the National Parks at some point. I loved Vera Wong and it was hilarious so I bed I’d like Dial A for Aunties. Hope you enjoy how it all turns out! Have a great week!

Wouldn’t that be awesome? Did you read Dear Bob and Sue? It’s a really neat book based on a series of emails a couple wrote while on their mission of visiting all of the National Parks. It was a fun read!
I need to read Vera Wong still! That has been on my list for too long now.
