It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date
This weekend we detoured from our norm and headed into Detroit rather than the woods. Pewabic Pottery, which has been operating since the early 1900s, had a Celtic Celebration, with live music. It was a daytime deal, and I knew Wyatt would love hearing the music, so we went. It was pretty cool! They had Irish dancers, and live Irish folk music, and I was right – Wyatt dug it. I ended up purchasing a tile for myself – it was hard to decide, there were so many that I loved, but this March (Medieval) Hare by artist Mary Philpott stole my heart. I wanted to purchase the entire line, but alas my wallet is not that expansive right now.
Read Last Week:
I absolutely loved this book!! The only thing bothers me is that now I have to wait again for the next one!!!
Reading This Week:
I had a time frame where a bunch of books I wanted to read all came out at once. Now is that weird lull that happens after you read a bunch of good books you had been waiting and waiting for. I have a few books I flipping through, waiting to see which one grabs me the most and demands to be read. And there is no rhyme or reason to this randomness. Lol. Any here that you have read and recommend?

A Wild and Woodsy Birthday Weekend
Watching:
We signed up for Britbox and have been watching Shakespeare and Hathaway – it’s pretty funny! We are also watching Top Chef and Hometown. I started the Netflix original called Abducted in Plain Sight, and it really freaked me out! I haven’t finished it yet.
I love the sound of the Celtic Celebration. Not far from where I live is an Irish pub that sometimes has music…the fourth Thursday used to be the schedule. When my eldest son visited a few years ago, he found it, as he had lived in Ireland for a while. Now he lives in Prague.
I haven’t gone when he isn’t here, but maybe I should.
Enjoy your books and your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

It’s so cool that your son has lived in Ireland, and now Prague! Both places in my top ten to visit. 🙂 I think you should go! Lol. It was fun to hang out and listen to for a bit. 🙂

It was really fun. He is such a musical kid, he loves all music and dancing. I read that Pisces have an affinity for music – I’m not really a big believer but that does ring true for my kiddo. 🙂
I love that tile. Lol. I did some reading and it is in the style of the British Arts and Crafts movement. I love the American Arts and Crafts movement so it is not big surprise that I like the British version as well lol.

Detroit has some really neat stuff these days, and is bursting with all sorts of new restaurants. It is crazy. Before Wyatt we would eat out there every weekend, trying out the new places – these days we are lucky to try two or three in a year. LOL. Still fun though.

That tile is amazing and can see why you’d want the whole line. The worst of a great series is always waiting for the next one!

I loves it! Lol. I had to do some research on the style – it is British Arts and Crafts movement. It makes sense, I love the American movement too. 🙂 And so so so true!!

Beautiful tile. Reminds me of a tile that sits above the hearth of my in-law’s home. My weekly updates
